An Alabama chicken processing company is recalling over 400,000 pounds of chicken products.

Wayne Farms, LLC, is recalling around 438,960 pounds of frozen, fully cooked chicken products that could be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal pieces, a USDA Food Service and Inspection Service spokesperson explained.

The recalled products were produced between July 4 through July 17, 2018, and they have the establishment number "P-20214" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The items were sent to distributors and restaurants across the country.

The USDA said no injury reports from eating the product have been made.

The FSIS is advising consumers to check their refrigerators or freezers to make sure they do not have any of the recalled products. Consumers who do have the products should throw them away or return them to the store where they bought them.
