Senator Bo Watson wants Nike contracts with Tennessee state-financed colleges and universities reviewed.

Senator Watson, R-Hixson, tweeted Friday night that he has "asked the TN Office of Legislative Budget Analysis to review what TN state-financed colleges & universities have Nike contracts and report findings."
Senator Watson quote-tweeted a tweet by journalist Sean Hannity where the Fox News personality wrote about colleges removing the Nike logo from athletic gear because of the Kaepernick ad.
A Twitter user asked why Watson is stepping in.
"Because state-financed higher education is accountable to the people of Tennessee thru their elected representatives," Watson replied.
