Good Thursday.  We will be warm and cloudy today with highs in the upper 80s.  With the humidity it will feel like it is in the mid 90s during the heat of the day.  I would expect a few spotty showers and storms during the late afternoon and early evening hours.  We may even see a stray light shower or two this morning, but later today the chances get a bit higher.

Friday and Saturday high pressure will keep us warm with highs near 90, and rain chances low.

Sunday a front will move in late in the day after highs reach the upper 80s.  The front will bring widespread rain and some thunderstorms Sunday night through Wednesday as the front stalls and parks over the Tennessee Valley.  Rainfall amounts could range from 2"-3" Sunday through Wednesday.

We are keeping an eye on Hurricane Florence churning in the Atlantic.  It could threaten Bermuda and then the east coast toward the middle and end of next week.
