CLEVELAND, TN - The Ooltewah Owls and Bradley Central Bears opened up region play at Bear Stadium Friday night with a thriller.

After the Bears opened the 3rd quarter by recovering the second half kickoff and scored two plays later, the Owls exploded.

Ooltewah scored 21 unanswered points to close the 3rd quarter and take a 28-27 lead into the 4th.

A late interception from Bradley Central's Dylan Standifer sealed the deal for the Owls.

Ooltewah improves to 2-1. They'll go on the road next week to take on East Hamilton.

The Bears fall to 1-2 and go on the road to take on Cleveland next week.
