Sequatchie Co sheriff, chief deputy retire after decades of service
Sequatchie Sheriff Ronnie Hitchcock and Chief Deputy Randall Lockhart gave their final call to dispatch as both units went 10-7, or out of service, for the final time.
Both Sheriff Hitchcock and Chief Lockhart officially started their retirement from the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Department Friday.
"We wish them Godspeed in their next Journey. Thank you for your service and friendship for the last 16 Years," a sheriff's department spokesperson said.
Both have served a total of 63 years in law enforcement.
