Chattanooga firefighter charged with harassment, intimidation
A Chattanooga firefighter was arrested August 27 after a domestic dispute at a Soddy Daisy home.
Danny Gilbert, 43, arrived at an apartment before 10:00pm and began knocking on the door and yell, threatening to kill the occupant and inflict harm, according to the arrest report for the Soddy Daisy Police Department.
Gilbert left before police arrived, but continued to send text messages until about 3:00am the next day.
Gilbert has been charged with simple assault and intimidation. During his bond hearing, the judge also added the charge of contempt of court.
