The Chattanooga Department of Transportation is going to be working on several road projects this week.

Tuesday, August 28, Williams Street will be closed between West 33rd Street and West 31st Street. The closure will begin at 9:00 am and will last until 4:00 pm. Crews will be working on a railroad removal project during this time.

Drivers should expect lane restrictions on Broad Street Wednesday and Thursday. CDOT said the restrictions will take place on Broad Street north and southbound at West 33rd Street while crews work on a rail removal project.

Norcross Road will be closed at Forest Plaza Circle beginning on Wednesday, August 29th, and lasting until Friday, August 31st. Work will take place from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. Crews will be working to install storm drains. Local detours will be posted.
