A Soddy-Daisy High School teacher was arrested for waving a gun at a juvenile on August 13th. 

According to a police affidavit, a juvenile was pulling out of Starbucks, near Northgate Mall in Hixson, when Timothy Lee Hodges honked his horn at her. 

The teen told a Chattanooga Police officer that Hodges then pulled his Silver Ford pickup truck next to her car and flipped her off. The juvenile told police she also flipped him off and that's when Hodges waived a gun in her direction before driving away. 

She gave police part of his license plate number and an officer found Hodges two days later. 

A photo lineup was presented to the girl and she immediately selected Hodges photo. 

Hodges was charged with aggravated assault is currently being held in the Hamilton County Jail on a $5,000 bond. 

Hodges is due in court on September 21, 2018.
