UPDATE:  Weeks after being flooded by a broken water main, Skyuka Hall has re-opened at a new location. The campus, which includes a gymnasium, cafeteria and a playground.

The school helps children with learning differences grow and develop. 

Other schools and businesses donated furniture and supplies. 

The new school met with rave reviews from students.

PREVIOUS STORY: A school in Chattanooga designed for children with learning differences will reopen in a new location.

Skyuka Hall, an independent school, was destroyed in July.

The school provides individualized learning experiences within a community to enable children to develop academically, physically, socially and spiritually.

 Skyuka Hall is now at 5600 Brainerd Road, which is the former location of Chattanooga charter school of excellence.

The new campus is approximately 25,000 square feet and includes a gymnasium, cafeteria and playground. It also allows lower, middle and high school students to have separate learning areas.

Classes will resume Thursday, August 23.
