UPDATE: Missing 88-year-old Rhea County Man found in GA
UPDATE: 88-year-old Billy Joe Jordan was located and is safe in Catoosa County, Georgia, according to a post on the Rhea County Sheriffs Department's Facebook page.
PREVIOUS STORY: The Rhea County Sheriffs Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing 88-year-old Rhea County man.
Billy Joe Jordan is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and weighing about 145lbs.
He has gray/white hair and wears black plastic rim glasses. Jordan is clean-shaven and has a scar on the back of his head.
Jordan was last wearing a brown cowboy hat, navy blue loafers, faded black jeans, blue or black plaid button up collar shirt.
He was driving a 2001 white Chevy truck with a long bed, a toolbox and large dent on drivers door with a Tennessee tag 8B57Y5
Deputies say Jordan left 10:30 to buy tomatoes on Dayton Mountain in the Summer City area and has not returned home yet. He also frequents the Jackson's Island area in Rhea County.
