Good Wednesday.  Behind the heavy rain we experienced yesterday we have much drier air settling into the Tennessee Valley today.  With that said, we will still be hot with the high this afternoon reaching 93 degrees.  The lower humidity will make it tolerable, however, and this evening will be very pleasant.

Thursday will start great with low humidity and temps in the upper 60s.  The high will reach 92 and we may see a few stray showers in the afternoon.

Friday the humidity begins to build back in, and a week front may bring us one or two isolated showers.  The high Friday will reach 89.

The weekend will see highs in the mid 80s with varying rain chances both days.  Saturday an area of heavy rain will develop near the Tennessee Valley.  Yesterday it looked like it would develop right over Chattanooga.  With today's data, it looks as though it may develop just east over the Blue Ridge Mtns.  The takeaway... right now, I would have an indoor alternative planned for your event Saturday.  I would at least expect some scattered showers through the day, and some folks will get some heavy rain.  The high Saturday will only get to 87.

Sunday we will be on the back side of an area of low pressure which will allow for a couple of showers in the afternoon, and also cooler air with the high only reaching 85.

Next week we will remain in the mid to upper 80s with varying chances for rain each day.
