Driver extricated after vehicle crashes, ends up down side of HWY 60 embankment
A man was taken to an area hospital after he was extricated from his vehicle early Tuesday morning.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department the vehicle crashed in the 6400 block of Highway 60 near the Hamilton County/Meigs County Line.
Deputies found the crashed vehicle off the roadway down the side of an embankment. A sheriff's department spokesperson said, "it appeared at some point during the crash to have hit a power pole and flipped on its top."
Investigators are still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
The driver's injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
