Sequatchie traffic stop leads to meth arrest
A traffic stop turned into a drug bust in Sequatchie County Thursday.
A deputy for the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Department spotted a driver not wearing a seatbelt and pulled the vehicle over.
The deputy saw the vehicle's passenger acting suspiciously and reaching for the center console.
When the deputy searched the vehicle and its occupants, they found a glass pipe, a large quantity of methamphetamine, a baggie of green leafy substance and several items used for the sale and delivery of meth, according to a post on the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Department's Facebook page.
Danny Tabors, the vehicle's passenger, was transported to the Sequatchie County Justice Center and charged with possession of schedule II (Meth) for resale, possession of schedule VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
