Showers and storms will redevelop this afternoon and into the evening. Some of the storms will become strong to severe. There will be a good chance for large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain later tonight. After midnight, most of the rain will be over.

Lows tonight will be in the low 70's. Highs Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 80's. On Wednesday another round of showers and storms will develop. Again some of those storms could become strong to severe in the afternoon and evening.

Thursday through Saturday more scattered showers and storms will develop with warmer highs into the 90's. The heat indices will approach 100! On Sunday only isolated showers or storms will form. Monday and Tuesday will see more scattered showers and storms developing during the heating of the day.

After another round of storms producing wind damage Monday we will have another marginal risk of the same type of storms developing today.  There are a couple of differences to note, however.  The storms today look to develop later in the day.  Most of the storms will pop up between 2pm and 7pm.  We will also not see as many storms as we had yesterday.  With that said, it bears repeating: Any storms that do develop will have the potential to produce damaging winds.  The high today will reach 90 degrees.

Wednesday will have a similar pattern with a high of 91.  Although late in the day a front will move in and bring a line of storms to the area Wednesday evening into Wednesday night.  damaging winds will again be the primary threat alongside heavy rain and lightning.

Thursday and Friday I think we will overall get a break from the storm as  the front moves through and high pressure builds in capping the atmosphere and preventing many storms from developing.  It will also mean more heat and humidity as the high climbs to 93 both days with the heat index topping out near 100.  I can not rule out a stray storm in the afternoon, but the chance is only 10%.

The weekend will also be hot and humid with highs in the low 90s and heat index values in the upper 90s.  I will put the chance for showers and thunderstorms at 30% for both days.  At this point it does not look like a washout this weekend, but a storm or two may make you head indoors until it passes once or twice.
