The woman who will represent the Volunteer State as Miss Tennessee for 2018 was chosen Saturday.

Miss Chattanooga, Christine Williamson, won the opportunity to wear the 2018 Miss Tennessee crown.

"I don’t even know what to say. I’m so incredibly humbled to have been chosen as your new Miss Tennessee!!!" Williamson, a University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate student, said.

Williamson will compete in the 2019 Miss America Competition on September 9, 2018.
