UPDATE: Woman dies after being struck by vehicle on HWY 153

UPDATE: A woman who was struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning has died.
Ansleigh Kaylyn Harrison, 20, was struck by a Toyota Sequoia around 1:30 am in the 5200 block of Highway 153.
According to the Chattanooga Police Department, Harrison was struck while she was attempting to cross Highway 153.
She was taken to a local hospital where she later passed away.
Members of the Chattanooga Police Traffic Division are actively investigating the crash. CPD said, "charges are pending [the] outcome of [the] investigation.

It happened just before 1:30am, not far from Northgate Mall.
Officials say the woman was brought to the hospital. Right now, her condition is unknown.
