Apple introduces new 911 feature to improve emergency calls
Apple is rolling out a new feature aimed at helping dispatchers find callers more accurately.
It can be difficult for dispatchers to locate someone in an emergency when they're calling from a cell phone. This new technology could get first responders to a
caller nearly 30 to 45 seconds quicker than before.
Apple is using software from rapid SOS.... software 911 centers can get for free.
Caitlyn Chastain explains how it will impact 9-1-1 centers in the Tennessee Talley.
