The high school football season is less than two weeks away, and Boyd Buchanan head coach Carter Cardwell is eager to get started. The Bucs return eleven seniors this season, in what coach Cardwell describes as "one of the best" veteran classes.

Boyd Buchanan is one of the many private schools that made the jump to Division II this year, so their upperclassmen will be key in their new region.

The Bucs do have three young quarterbacks battling for the starting job though, sophomores Eli Evans and Griffin Broome, and freshman Eli Morris.

Boyd Buchanan opens up the season August 18th against Whitwell.
