Good Wednesday.  Expect a few showers and maybe even a stray storm or two as you move through the day.  Rainfall amounts will be light, less than .25" in most areas.  That will not do much to put a dent in the drought, as rainfall in Chattanooga is about 12.5" below average for the year.  We will be warm, and a little more humid today with a high of 93.

Tonight will clear out as the humidity settles in and we drop to a low of 74.  Thursday will be muggy with partly cloudy skies and a high of 93.

Friday through the weekend we will be back in the soup.  Highs will top out at about 95 and the heat index will reach about 100 during the heat of the day.  The chances for any rain this weekend are extremely small.  There is only a slight chance for a passing shower each day.
