CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis caught a huge 5 bass limit weighing 31.00 pounds, edging out a field of 108 anglers to win first place and $2,000.00 in the Truck ‘N Trailers USA Chattanooga Bass Association July night Tournament. This tournament was held Saturday, July 23rd out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp.

Steve said “When we left our first stop we had about 18 pounds at 9:15 p.m. We changed patterns and started catching even better fish. Using Soddy Custom Tackle spinner baits we just kept getting better. Then around 2 a.m. we caught an 8.98 largemouth, made a move and got a 6.52 largemouth. After daylight, we caught one more 5 pounder on a football jig. That was one of the best night bites I have ever seen”.

The team of Barron Adams and Trevor Prince had big bass of this event weighing a whopping 9.04 pounds receiving 100 dollars and 2 nice Duckett rods. Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis had second big bass with a 8.98 lb. largemouth receiving 100 dollars.

Chase McCullough won the highest finishing youth team prize of $25 dollars.

Shane Frazier said “Special thanks to Truck ‘N Trailers USA for their sponsorship of this event”.
