There's plenty of good news to report for a lot of restaurants in Hamilton County this Friday.

All of the scores are fairly high. In fact, there are no failing grades and the lowest score is an 85.

Glass Street Breakfast and Lunch on Crutchfield Street needs to pay a little more attention to hand washing. The inspector noted someone used a dish sink to wash their hands. The restaurant also didn't have any sanitizer on hand, and the inspector saw a live roach near a hand sink.

We should also point out that three restaurants scored a perfect score of 100, which isn't easy to do.

Congratulations to Longhorn Steakhouse on Brainerd Road, Jimmy John's on Igou Gap Road and the Bread Basket on Hixson Pike.

Remember if you have a complaint about a pool, restaurant, health care facility, daycare or a gym, call the Hamilton County Health Department hotline at 423-209-8110.

Someone will personally handle your complaint weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Enjoy your meal!
