ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - Yante Maten scored 20 points and J.J. Frazier added 17 as Georgia defeated Robert Morris 79-67 on Tuesday, winning its fourth straight game.
Mante and Frazier got hot for Georgia (7-3) late to pull away, scoring 16 of Georgia's final 18 points.
The Colonials got as close as 44-39 with 15:31 to play after a 3-pointer by Elijah Minnie. But highlight-reel dunks by Kenny Paul Geno and Houston Kessler ignited a short burst to push the lead to 54-42 midway through the second half.
Robert Morris, in catch-up mode, never mounted a serious threat the rest of the way.
Rodney Pryor scored 22 with eight rebounds for Robert Morris (2-11), which made just 3 of 23 from beyond the arc. The Colonials got 14 points from Kavon Stewart and Minnie finished with 11.
