Authorities are searching for a 15-month-old boy who is reported missing from McMinn County.
Paxton Avery Sluter was last seen at 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning at his family's home in the 100 block of County Rd. 54 in Athens.
Sluter has red/brown hair, brown eyes, weighs 26 pounds and is 2.5 feet tall. The baby's left eye is bruised from a recent fall. Paxton Sluter may be wearing a red or blue pajama sleeper with white footies.
“It's possible that Paxton's grandmother took the child to Meigs Co last night, but at this point we can't confirm that,” said Sheriff Guy.
Investigators ask anyone with any information about this child to call 911 immediately. It is possible the child was taken to some other residence in McMinn or Meigs Counties.
Anyone with information should call McMinn County Sheriff's Office at (423) 745-5620.
