Mocs' DB coach Hogan leaving for alma mater
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga confirms that defensive backs coach B.J. Hogan will leave after the season to take over at Cardinal O'Hara High School in Eastern Pennsylvania.
Hogan has been with the Mocs since Head Coach Russ Huesman took over six years ago.
Hogan played defensive back for Cardinal O'Hara at the turn of the century. In 2000 he helped lead the Lions to a PA Catholic League Championship.
Hogan tells Stephen Hargis with our partners at the Chattanooga Times Free Press that, "this was the only job I would have even considered leaving for."
Hogan has had two UTC defensive backs play in the NFL, both are still playing. Buster Skrine with the Cleveland Browns and Chris Lewis Harris with the Cincinnati Bengals.
