Good Friday!  A chilly start, but the spring like weather returns later today.

Winds will be increasing and coming from the southwest this afternoon.  That will bring in much warmer air.  Highs this afternoon will reach about 65 with mostly sunny skies.  The winds will blow from 10-20 mph.

We will see the winds lighten up tonight, but the southwest component will remain, keeping the warm flow of air trickling in.  Saturday will have lows in the 40s and highs near 70.  Clouds will build late Saturday.

An approaching system will bring rain showers overnight Saturday into Sunday.  Rain showers will continue through the day Sunday, tapering off Sunday night.  It will be windy at times Sunday afternoon along with the rain.

For St. Patrick's Day (Monday), we have a couple of possibilities.  Low pressure will move by to our south creating showers across the deep south Monday afternoon and Monday night.  One model solution has the low close enough to the Tennessee Valley to push some rain our way Monday evening.  Another solution has the low too far south to give us a drop. Typically, as you get closer to the event, the models fall more into agreement so stay tuned for the latest over the weekend.
