Peabody ducks retire at Jack Daniel's distillery
A group of Peabody ducks has retired to the Jack Daniel distillery.
After taking the final "duck march" through the Peabody Memphis hotel this week, the latest group headed to the distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.
For 80 years, generations of "Peabody Ducks" have welcomed guests.
According to tradition, the first ducks at the Peabody were hunting decoys the owner left in the fountain, after having Tennessee whiskey on a hunting trip.
Peabody ducks usually spend three months at the hotel before retiring.
