Good Wednesday.  If you're really still, you can almost feel fall sneaking in today.

High pressure settling in behind a front that moved through yesterday is settling in to the north, giving us a light, dry flow of air that has caused dew point values to fall, providing us with more comfortable air.

The dew point is a good way to gauge the comfort level for the day.  By definition, it is the temperature in which the air has to fall before the moisture in the air will condense out into liquid form.  The higher the dew point, the more muggy the air will be.

Dew point values have been in the upper 60s and low 70s which is muggy to oppressive.  They are now in the low to mid 60s which is much more tolerable.

I don't expect any changes through Friday.  Cool morning lows, and warm, dry afternoons.

For the weekend, the humidity will creep back up a little, but I still think it will be an overall nice weekend.  No rain for Saturday with a high of 88.  Only a slight chance of an afternoon shower or storm Sunday with a high of 88.
