Miller Industries officials today announced an expansion of the company's facilities in northeastern Tennessee.

The Greeneville, TN expansion represents a $1.8 million investment and adds 58 new jobs in Greene County.

The project includes a 6,300 square-foot expansion to Miller Industries' Campbell Drive facility, new machinery and equipment, and an additional 40,000 square-feet of rented space.
Miller Industries bills itself as the world's largest manufacturer of towing and recovery equipment.

Headquartered in Ooltewah, the expansion brings a new product line to Miller Industries, which will include manufacturing and refurbishing large over-the-road trailers that can haul up to 11 vehicles to dealerships.

Additional space in the expansion will be used as a shot blast facility to clean welded equipment before paint application. The 40,000 square-foot rental space two blocks away will be used to refurbish the older trailers before being sent to the shot blast facility for cleaning.
