Blount County authorities discovered 16 separate single-pot methamphetamine labs and took five people, including one juvenile, into custody when they acted on a tip about a mobile home.

The Blount County Sheriff's Office received the tip about 9 p.m. Wednesday in reference to the residence on Terry Way.

Two people ran from the trailer just as officers arrived, while five others were taken into custody at the scene, according to a BCSO news release Thursday.

Investigators with the Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force arrived and seized 15 "one pot" methamphetamine labs inside, including one that was in the active stages of processing its ingredients.
