HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -- The Hamilton County Sheriff's department will hold a "Shred it" and "Drug Take Back" on Saturday, April 27.

The department has partnered with "Shred It" to collect important papers, medical documents or financial/tax records to shred for safe and secure disposal.

They will also be collecting expired or unwanted prescription drugs for safe disposal.

Documents will be collected at the Sheriff's West Annex located at 6233 Dayton Blvd from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Drugs will be collected at the West Annex as well as  Central High School on 5728 Highway 58 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This service is for residents of Hamilton County and is not open for businesses.
