PARSONS, TN (AP) -- They are a symbol of unity and hope, the pink bows that adorn mailboxes, lamp posts and store fronts in this town.

Holly Bobo's disappearance from her Parsons home two years ago is the reason for the bows.

Residents say the decorations represent the fact that they are spiritually bound to each other, both in their faith in God and desire for the nursing student to be found alive.

Interest in the case has been rekindled in recent days after news that Bobo's purse was found by neighborhood dogs, who took it to a nearby home.

The find led the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to search an area near the disappeared woman's rural home on Thursday. A TBI spokeswoman said nothing was found and the search didn't resume Friday.
