Rain, wind ushers in cooler temps
We are under a TORNADO WATCH until 7pm eastern (all N. Ga counties, Cherokee and Clay in NC, and Hamilton, Bradley, Marion and Polk in TN.
We can expect scattered showers with the occasional thunderstorms through the early afternoon.
During the evening hours, we will see the rain tapering off, and windy weather moving in. Winds will blow from the NW at 15-20 mph later today.
That will usher in cooler and drier air for Thursday with lows Thursday morning in the low-40s and highs in the mid-50s.
