CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - A Rossville, Georgia woman says she wants to make something clear about the robberies that took place in Chattanooga and North Georgia.

Chansonette Young says she's so shaken and concerned for her safety, she didn't want to show her face on camera.   But, she says she did want everyone to know that she was forced at gunpoint into a car with three black men who robbed her and then drove to another home on Noah Street in Chattanooga.

Young says, "I begged for my life, it's been reported I brought them there, I ain't trying to cause harm to nobody."

Police say the suspects demanded money and drugs from both Young and the homeowner on Noah Street, Ed Myrick.   Young denies that they asked her for drugs.  Investigators say the gun-toting thieves were looking for Young's boyfriend when they didn't get what they wanted.  Young says that could be what led them to Myrick's house. 78 year old Myrick tells police he doesn't know Young or her boyfriend.

Chattanooga police are investigating the robbery on Noah Street.  The Walker County Sheriff's Department will handle the robbery and reported kidnapping from Rossville.
