*High temperatures reached into the 80s or 90s 19 of the 31 days
*A record high temperature of 91 was tied on May 11; a new record high of 96 was set on May 31 (this was also the highest temperature recorded for the month)
*The coolest temperature for the month was 41 on May 5

*Total rainfall measured was only 1.62", 2.66" below an average May
*Greatest rainfall over a 24-hr. period was 0.87" on May 3
