ELLIJAY, Ga. (AP) - A Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman says authorities in north Georgia are looking for a missing plane with four people on board.

FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen says the plane, a Beech 35, was reported missing late Monday.

She says the plane departed the Ellijay airport Monday afternoon for a sightseeing trip within a 50-mile radius of the airport.

Bergen says the family called the airport when the plane didn't return as expected.

Bergen says the flight had no contact with air traffic controllers.
