Sheriff calls for 100 day ban on pseudoephedrine
ATHENS, McMINN COUNTY (WRCB) – A Tennessee Valley sheriff is calling on businesses across the state to go "pseudo-free" for a hundred days.
It's in an effort to fight methamphetamine.
McMinn County Sheriff Joe Guy says if there is no pseudoephedrine, there can be no meth.
He's asking stores in McMinn County and across the state to suspend the sales of any pseudoephedrine products for the next 100 days.
