ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia voters are at the deadline to register if they want to take part in the July 20 primaries.

Voters must be registered 30 days before they cast their ballots. The deadline is Monday.

Georgia voters this year will decide contests for a U.S. Senate seat and governor as well as lieutenant governor, other statewide offices such as labor commissioner and state school superintendent, congressional seats and local races.

Anyone uncertain whether they are currently registered may check their status at the Georgia secretary of state's website.
