Good Friday!  Get ready for a wet weekend with maybe a little rain/sleet/snow mix in a few spots.  Primarily, though, this will be a rain event.

Today we can expect cloudy skies with the occasional light sprinkle through the day.  The rain chance is 20%.  It is also much more mild today.  Temps are in the mid to upper 30s this morning.  We will climb to 47 this afternoon.

Overnight we will start to see the rain showers moving in.  Saturday morning we will primarily see rain as temps in the valley will be in the mid to upper 30s.  In some outlying areas we may drop into the low to mid 30s so I would not be surprised if we saw a few isolated areas of a rain/sleet/snow mix, but that will be the exception rather than the rule Saturday morning.  It will be rainy all day Saturday into Saturday night.

Sunday morning temps in the valley will be about the same, but in the higher elevations we might be a degree or two cooler allowing for a better chance for some light mixed precipitation Sunday morning, and some spots on the plateau or the Blue Ridge may even see a light wintry mix into the afternoon as temps remain in the 30s all day.

Monday we will keep the chance for a light wintry mix in the forecast at 30% for the morning hours with light rain showers possible Monday afternoon.  Temps Monday in Chattanooga will range from 36 in the morning to 45 in the afternoon.

We will clear out late Monday, and after a cold start Tuesday (mid to upper 20s) we will warm nicely to a high of 48 with mostly sunny skies!
