As the holiday shopping deals come to a close, #GivingTuesday puts a bow on the season of giving.

#GivingTuesday, an event that aims to bring people together to give back to their community, is coming to Chattanooga Tuesday.

CHAgives is celebrating #GivingTuesday right here in the Tennessee Valley by teaming up with local Chattanooga nonprofits and the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce to throw the CHAgive Pop-up Party in Miller Park on Tuesday.

Tickets for the CHAgives Pop-up Party are FREE. CHAgives does ask that you bring a donation.

Monetary donations, canned goods, school supplies, over-the-counter-medications, toilet paper, and non-perishable goods are some of the items you can donate to nonprofits at the event.

Mayor Andy Berke will be speaking at the event, and you can write your own personal love letter to Chattanooga!

CHAgives is aiming to raise $750,000, have 200 participating nonprofits and 400 community partners.

Last year, CHAgives raised nearly $500,000 for Chattanooga's nonprofit community in just 24 hours, and Chattanooga ranked in the top 15 Most Generous Cities in America!

What are the other ways you can participate in #GivingTuesday? Just find a way for your family, community, company or organization to come together to give something more - money, time or even a smile!

Spread how you gave back by using the hashtags #CHAgives and #GivingTuesday on social media to encourage others to join in on the giving!
