Hot and muggy day ahead, and weekend showers From Florence
Good Friday! We will wrap up the work week with hot and muggy weather. Highs this afternoon will be in the low 90s with the heat index in the mid-90s. Skies will be mostly sunny through the day. For Friday Night Football look for no rain, but it will be muggy through the evening with temps dropping through the 80s.
Saturday we will remain warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s. Well ahead of Florence, we will see a few scattered showers Saturday afternoon into Saturday night.
Sunday the remnants of Florence will move by to our east. That will allow for some showers and a few thunderstorms through the day Sunday. We will only make it into the upper 70s and low 80s as a result of the clouds and potential for rain. We may see a few of those showers lingering into Monday. Rainfall amounts will range from .5" to 1.5" with the heavier amounts to the north. Most of that rain will fall Sunday through Monday.
Tuesday through Friday next week we will be warm and dry with temps returning to the upper 80s.
