Joined WRCB in 2018
Alison Pryor joined the WRCB Storm Alert weather team in September 2018 as the weekend forecaster and reporter. She is a native of the Tennessee Valley, growing up in Cleveland, and is thrilled to be forecasting weather for this area. Her meteorology education is through Mississippi State University, and she is currently finishing her final year of their meteorology program.
Alison comes to WRCB with a diverse background of experiences. She graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and also holds a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Mathematics from Smith College. She previously worked as a show planner for a home shopping TV station and managed a locally owned women's clothing boutique before deciding to make broadcast meteorology her career.
Outside of her passion for weather, she loves dancing, college football (Go Vols!), and being out on the boat on the river! Alison is excited to be a part of the Scenic City community and would love to hear from you. If you have weather-related story ideas, please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org, and you can follow Alison for weather updates on Facebook and Twitter @AlisonPryorWRCB.
