CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of David and Zach Crider caught a 5 bass limit weighing 31.02 pounds topping out the field of 106 anglers to win first place and $2,000.00 in the Island Cove Outdoor Center August day Chattanooga Bass Association Tournament. This day bass event was held August 11th 2018 out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp.

Zach said “ The day started out slow, moving around about 12 noon we hit a big school and loaded the boat’’.

Ron Willerson had big bass of the event a beautiful 9.07 largemouth.

Second big fish of this event was caught by Tommy Hopkins a super large mouth weighing 8.81 pounds.

All fish caught in this event were released back into Lake Chickamauga to be caught again and special thanks to the fishermen for taking such extra good care of their catches.

Chattanooga Bass Association President, Jamie Copenhaver, said “Thanks to Island Cove Outdoor Center and all our sponsors for their much appreciated support for this 2018 season”.
