CPD: Juvenile suffers apparent graze wound to face, investigation underway
A juvenile suffered an apparent graze wound to her face Friday afternoon, according to Chattanooga Police.
Officers met the victim at an area hospital.
She initially told them the shooting happened in the 2800 block of North Chamberlain Avenue, but police were unable to locate a crime scene there.
The girl also told officers she was shot while sitting in a vehicle.
Members of the Major Crimes Bureau are investigating.
