Scattered storms developing today
Good Wednesday. Welcome back to school for many of you today. No problems at the bus stop or car rider line this morning, but we will see some scattered storms developing through the late morning and afternoon hours. Heading home from school and work you will be dealing with scattered storms around the area. I don't expect any severe weather, but heavy rain and lightning are certainly possible. The high today will reach the upper 80s.
Thursday and Friday will sport mostly cloudy skies with on and off showers or storms and highs in the low to mid-80s.
This weekend the rain chance will be lower, but still there. I am putting us at a 30% chance for showers or storms both Saturday and Sunday. We will also be a little warmer with highs climbing back into the mid to upper 80s.
Monday we will start the week with more scattered showers and storms and a high of 86. We will finally see a return of the sunshine and drier weather with highs in the upper 80s Tuesday and Wednesday.
