UPDATE: A Monday morning crash in Marion County claimed three lives.

Tennessee Highway Patrol's Lt. John Harmon tells Channel 3, the three people were killed on Highway 108 in Marion County. "The vehicle became engulfed in flames. When the fire was extinguished, it was discovered there was three occupants in the car. A woman and two small children," said Lt. John Harmon with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. 

The victims are 30-year-old Lauren R. Garner, 2-year-old Willow Frisbee, and 1-year-old Chrimson Frisbee.

The crash happened south of the Marion County/Grundy County line near Kelly Creek Road. 

According to the crash report from the THP, Garner ran off the road in a curve and hit a tree. The car caught on fire and all three people inside could not get out.

The THP says it's unclear why Garner ran off the road.

The report says drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
