Pictsweet Farms recalls Brussles sprouts sold in TN Valley
The Pictsweet Company has recalled 960 cases of Pictsweet Farms 12-Once Steam'ables Baby Brussels Sprouts because of undeclared milk and soy allergens.
If someone allergic to milk or soy eats the product, they could have a very serious allergic reaction.
The recalled product was sold in multiple states including Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina.
Pictsweet said the recalled Brussels sprouts have a UPC code of 0 70560 97731 9 and production codes beginning with 1508K. The packages also have "BEST IF USED BY MAY 30, 2020" printed on them.
No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported, the company said.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should contact Pictsweet Farms consumer affairs line at 1-800-527-0986 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Daylight Time, Monday through Friday or return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
