UPDATE: Police name suspect wanted for Arlington Avenue homicide
Police say 23-year-old Oshea Arkeith Williams is wanted for the shooting death of 41-year-old Cortez Alford on July 18.
UPDATE: Chattanooga police are asking for your help in finding a man who is accused of a deadly shooting on Arlington Avenue last month.
Police say 23-year-old Oshea Arkeith Williams is wanted for the shooting death of 41-year-old Cortez Alford on July 18 near BayBerry Apartments.
Investigators believe that Williams could be in the Detroit, Michigan area.
Williams is described as 5'7" tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Williams is wanted for Criminal Homicide, Felony Reckless Endangerment, and Possession of a Firearm During a Dangerous Felony.
Police say the TBI and U.S. Marshals Service are helping with the investigation.

PREVIOUS UPDATE: Chattanooga police have identified the victim of Wednesday afternoon's shooting as 41-year-old Cortez Alford.
Police say Alford and the suspect were in a physical altercation prior to the shooting, according to witnesses.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene. Police were able to find the weapon nearby.
No suspect description was made available.

It happened in the 1100 block outside of Bayberry Apartments around 4:50 p.m.
Police say the male victim died from his injuries.
Investigators are trying to figure out what led to the shooting.
Police say a suspect is not in custody at this time but they are working all leads to bring the person responsible to justice.
