UPDATE: A man who was added to the TBI's 'Top 10 Most Wanted" list Saturday is now in custody.

The TBI tweeted Monday that William Barnard Hawk had been taken into custody.

Hawk was wanted on a criminal homicide charge.


PREVIOUS STORY: The TBI has added a man wanted for attempted criminal homicide to its "Top 10 Most Wanted" list.

William Barnard Hawk, 50, of Fayetteville is wanted in connection to an incident that happened Saturday in Lincoln County, TN, which is near the Alabama state line.

The TBI said, "Hawk should be considered armed and dangerous.

Hawk is described as an African-American man. He is 5'6" and weighs around 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He is possibly driving an electric-blue 2014 Nissan Sentra with temporary tags.
