It's sunflower time in Tennessee, and there might not be a better place to see them than on the side of Ooltewah-Georgetown Road at the Smith-Perry Berries Sunflower Fields.

It's an annual tradition that's appreciated by all ages.

The fields span 30 acres. Each year it takes about a week for Aubie Smith and his crew to prepare the soil and plant the seeds.

There are fields just for viewing and photography, and another where you are allowed to pick your own flowers to take home.

It's a beauty unmatched in this area, and for the folks at Smith-Perry Berries -- it's an opportunity to give something back to the community that they won't soon forget.
