Fourth of July ATV crash leads to scuffle, child endangerment charge
A Fourth of July ATV accident in Soddy Daisy led to the arrest of a Soddy Daisy man.
Police say that Jimmy Holovacko was on an ATV with a child in the 12,000 block of Dayton Pike.
When they arrived at the scene of the crash, the police report states that Holovacko had slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol.
While first responders were trying to treat and examine Holovacko and the child, he grabbed the EMT by the arm and then grabbed a Soddy Daisy police officer.
The officer used a leg sweep to take down Holovacko, and other officers had to join in to get Holovacko into handcuffs.
He declined medical attention several times according to police.
He's been charged with child endangerment by DUI.
